CWE have recently started collaborating with Ride Zimbabwe, owned by renowned Safari Guide James Varden and his wife Janine. The Vardens have been running horse safaris for over ten years and been in the safari industry for over 20 years.

This week  we hosted our first horse safari based at CWE.  Two families arrived for three days of horses, game viewing and more horses!

Aged from five years old and up there was plenty to do for them all. Early morning rides, game viewing drives and walks, lounging by the pool and chilling in camp. The first evening we welcomed everyone at the end of their ride with sundowners in the bush.

What a beautiful way to end the day! On the second day our lovely horse volunteers organized a most entertaining gymkhana on a mowed field. The big round hay bales provided great goal posts and course markers.
